Just look at this perfect specimen of a dog- alert eyes, perked ears, ravishing fur. She looks like she might be thinking about how she just realized she's smarter than I am. A lot smarter! And she figured out how to get the Easter Bunny off her head.

The Easter Bunny came early to our house and jumped on top of Ruby's head. He then dangled his legs around her face and refused to get down. Maybe he's mad at her because she chewed off one of his ears.

Either to record a cheesy '80s pop song, or to stare out the window at the prey you know you could attack- if only you could get to them. Too bad that mean lady that feeds you won't let you out!
A Rare Moment of Silliness
This may be my all time favorite picture of Ruby. She never lets me do anything goofy with her, so I couldn't believe it when she let me stack all the laundry on her today. She even wagged her tail while I was doing it, so I wasn't just taking advantage of her while she was sleeping. Yes, it's not exactly the same as dressing her up, but it's as close as I'll ever get, so I'll take it and be happy!

Here she is people, spreading joy to little girls everywhere! Yes, it's not easy have such a dazzling creature for a daughter. Fortunately, she is as nice as she is pretty. Otherwise, it would be a living hell.

This is how Ruby runs away!
Swear- she ran away to get into a fenced in area. I know it doesn't make any sense, but for some reason the grass in the fenced in playground tastes better than any other grass in Bloomington. Maybe lots of kids pee on it or something. I don't know, but Ruby slipped her collar and ran about 30 feet away from me where she waited patiently at the fence. She's a wild one, isn't she?

The Look
This is the look that got Ruby (then Rhonda, so it was even more pathetic) adopted. It is now the look that gets her cheese, chicken, Beggin' Strips, a walk, me to take my bra off her head... You get the point.
A Romp with Her Archenemy
Although Ruby generally hates Harley (her niece) with a passion today she went for a romp with her. Fortunately Harley has been subjected to Ruby's snarls and snaps since she was a tiny puppy (she's actually still a puppy!), so she recognizes Ruby as the alpha. Or else she's just a nicer dog than Ruby!

Every time we go for a walk Ruby takes a toy with her. Tonight it was the ever popular pink cow!

If you only saw this picture of her and didn't know her personally you'd think she had been aptly named (this title is her full, legal name). Sadly she is generally falling off of things or attacking miniscule pieces of paper. The worst part is when she falls down she just stays where she fell and goes to sleep!

Here is Rachel, or Barbie as we like to call her, driving in her gray car. This is what she spends about 80% of her time doing. The rest of her time is spent in class or making up lies about her daycare charges to get them in trouble!
