Dobby- Ruby's favorite friend to ignore
This is Dobby, the Crazy Cat Woman's dog- yes, she has one. When we introduced Dobby and Ruby we did all the right things- met on neutral territory, etc. Guess what? The dogs completely ignored each other and acted like they had know one another forever! That's how they still are to this day. They do lots of charity events together.
Beanie
Ruby's friend and neighbor- Beanie! Beanie is quite the barker and has even gotten the Rue Dog to bark occasionally!
Ruby's Sworn Enemy
This is a close-up of happy-go-lucky Harley, Ruby's sworn enemy. She is Ruby's niece (Barbie's daughter) and Ruby has hated her with a passion since the day she met her when Harley weighed about 10 pounds and was about 3 months old. Harley is about 9 months old in this pic. It's easy to see why Ruby hates her so much- she's full of zest for life, will happily go anywhere, and she loves me beyond all reason. What a horrible dog!
The Crazy Cat Lady
Here she is- the Crazy Cat Lady who does things like find homes for stray cats, help provide low cost spay and neuter services (for animals only- no people) and make quilts for awesome animals like Ruby! She sells her quilts and donates the money to animal charities. I don't know what's up with all the flowers, but this is one of the rare pictures in which she is smiling showing her small (or are they just small appearing?) teeth. You'd think someone who does so much frickin' good for the World would just be smiling all over the place, but maybe she's just too tired from all of her charitiable contributions! She does have an actual name- it's Nola!
